30 Hour Prenatal
Yoga Teacher Training
Pregnancy is the beginning of motherhood: a journey of self-discovery and learning. It’s also a time when women often begin, return to, or find yoga. The journey of motherhood is an exploration of our deepest selves; pregnancy being the ultimate symbol of union and interconnectedness, a living yoga experience. As women we are naturally drawn to our innate nature of love and nurturing; a specific practice for pregnant women can help to deepen, nurture and embody this connection on a physical, emotional, and spiritual level. Holding space for women during their journey into motherhood is both a privilege and an honour; it brings with it a great sense of possibility and thus responsibility as both a Yoga Teacher and a woman.

Meet the instructor
Sara Evans
A student of yoga for more than 25 years, Sara found her yoga practice to be a profound source of insight and intuition during the birth of her first child. This experience was the catalyst to studying yoga the year following, specifically to share the tools of yoga with other women on their journey through pregnancy and motherhood. Since training to teach yoga in 2009, Sara's passion for sharing prenatal and postnatal yoga is inspiring - not just to the women in her specialty classes but to fellow teachers and other mothers. Sara's fluid and feminine approach to yoga in her prenatal teaching has influenced how she teaches vinyasa, yin and slow flow classes; grounded in the wisdom of getting in touch with ourselves from the inside out.
