YOGA TEACHER TRAINING
The Art of Rest: Restorative Yoga + Yoga Nidra
The practice of restorative yoga is a radical shift away from dynamic movement that has become the norm in modern yoga offerings; restorative practices are an invitation for us to receive rest and replenish from the inside out.
In this Continuing Education Training, both practitioners and yoga teachers learn how to deliver effective restorative yoga classes within a variety of settings suited to all bodies. We share the scientific research, offer insight into how the anatomy and physiology of restful yoga practices can be effective as well as leaning into the power of props as a metaphor for embracing support to slow down our busy lives.
As an accompaniment to the power of rest, discover the science of yogic sleep, sharing Yoga Nidra as an addition to restorative yoga or as a meditative practice entirely on its own.
Join Senior Yoga Australia teacher, Sara Evans, who shares a wealth of experience and insightful information on restorative practices so that teachers and practitioners can embrace the power of conscious rest.
